Smooth Laminar flow

To be more predictable the flow in a pipeline should be smooth and laminar. The flow should be pulled from the customer end when a product is ready for delivery. Instead of pushing from the top it should a pull from the end. When you push you get turbulence and backflow impeding delivery. It is important to limit the stories in flight within the pipeline.
